Services Provide for Energy Employees (EEOIC)

East Tennessee Personal Care Service is an authorized and approved provider of non-medical home care through the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (EEOIC). This program provides compensation and medical benefits to employees of the Department of energy (DOE), to its predecessor agencies, its contractors in their own homes.
Care is funded by the Department of Labor at no cost to your family. This service allows participants to live comfortably in their own homes.
Our staff is trained to submit the correct paperwork to expedite delivery of care. ETPCS strives to provide quality reliable home health aides and CNAs to give the level of service expected by EEOIC participants.

Serving Adults with Developmental Disabilities

East Tennessee Personal Care Service is an authorized and approved provider of the State of Tennessee to provide personal assistance to persons with developmental disabilities. We have a dedicated team of staff and personal care assistants who have been specially trained to provide a wide variety of in-home service to these persons with special needs.
During the most recent quality assurance review by the State of Tennessee, ETPCS received a perfect score with a provider rating of “exceptional performance”.
In order for ETPCS to provide services, the prospective recipient must have been approved as a “service recipient” by the State of Tennessee Division of Mental Retardation Services.

Sometimes, when a person is discharged from a hospital or other facility, they need a little extra help to get back home. East Tennessee Personal Care Service has a service specifically designed to meet this need.

Transportation Back Home:

Coordinate with Discharge PlannerTransport Client to Their Home

Get Client Safely into Their Home

25 Miles of Transportation (extra miles is $.42 a mile)

Once Client is Home:

Provide Any Immediate Personal Care

Get Client Settled In

Prepare Initial Meal

Companionship

Grocery Shop

Pick Up Prescriptions

Check For Home Safety

Laundry, Linens

Alert Neighbors

Prepare Home With Lights, HVAC, etc.

Service includes up to 5 hours of personal care. If the client decides to use ETPCS for 40 hours or more of personal care service, the “Let Us Take You Home” fee will be waived.
