Senior Day at the 2016 Healthy Living Expo The Healthy Living Expo will be 9am – 3pm Friday, January 22, and 9am – 4pm Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Knoxville Convention Center. The area’s largest health and fitness expo features an array of nutritional information, health checks and fitness activities for East Tennesseans of any age. Senior citizens are honored on Friday with free admission. Seniors will find exercise ideas, food samples, FREE health screenings, and an abundance of information from more than 150 exhibitors at the Expo. Always a huge hit is the Eat Right Nutrition Stage that showcases nutrition presentations as well as cooking demonstrations from a variety of vendors in the expo. 2016 Speakers are Sam Venable, Bill Landry and Chef Walter. Free Health Screens & Flu Shots at the Loudon County Senior Center

FREE HEALTH SCREENS & FLU SHOTS COMING TO LOUDON ON SEPT 8TH, 2014 No one wants to get sick. Yet every winter, the flu bug makes the rounds causing thousands of people to feel miserable. For some, especially the young and the elderly, the flu can turn deadly. Medical experts agree: the best way to avoid the flu is by getting a yearly flu vaccination. Covenant Health, East Tennessee Personal Care Service and Clinton Drugs will be offering more than just flu shots on September 8th. The Flu Shot will be offered FREE to Seniors with Medicare.  Individuals will need to show their Medicare and/or insurance card and complete a consent form to receive their flu shot with no out of pocket expense.  The flu shot will cost $25 for Non- Medicare or those without Health Insurance.
