ETPCS & NHC PRESENT A NEW SNACK SERIES AT STRANG SENIOR CENTER

Noon-Time Snack Series presented by East Tennessee Personal Care This is a new noontime snack series that will feature guests & speakers from all over the area.  It will be a regular monthly program at the Frank Strang Senior Center in Farragut, complete with special treats and finger foods.   This program series is presented by ETPCS and NHC Farragut. Wednesday, March 5th at 12 NOON “What do I do Now” Carolyn Pointer Neil of Elder Advocates will speak on how to handle those crises we don’t expect.  Is a family member in need of immediate care?  Do you need advice or assistance on a personal family medical matter?  Many times we aren’t sure of what is wrong, or what is needed.  In the case of one local woman, her husband was acting strangely, and seemed confused and disoriented.  Elder Advocates assessed and advised her on who to see, where to go, and what to do next.  Listen to Ms. Neil, RN, who will talk about all of these situations and where to find help.
