Andrew Dougherty
What is the difference between normal aging and Alzheimer’s disease? Should I be worried that I walked into a room and forgot why or can’t remember where I parked my car at the grocery store? Andrew Dougherty, President of MedInteract, will discuss the role of cognitive testing in the primary care and neurology practice setting and the primary forms of dementia.

Light refreshments will be provided. Contact Kim Underwood at underwoodwt@comcast.net for more information.

Medinteract was founded by Dr. John Dougherty in 2004 with the purpose of providing medical educational information to the public. Dr. Dougherty’s goals include: increasing awareness of and early screening for Alzheimer’s disease, as well as other neurological disorders.

In 2008, Medinteract released the COGselftest.com in 2008, after years of clinical research and trials. Dr. Dougherty is a leading neurologist and has been an Alzheimer’s specialist for the last fifteen years. He is Director of the Cole Neuroscience Center, a memory disorder clinic in Knoxville, TN, where he follows more than 2,000 Alzheimer’s patients. Ask your physician for more information on screening for cognitive impairment.
